Sarah was happily married to Beverly Johnson and living in the house John Harvey had built. Her grandniece recalled it being a happy house where visiting children had a great time; even sliding down the stair bannister was allowed. It was here that annual Harvey family reunions were held. The house was set back from the road with a long driveway flanked by Maple trees leading to it. This parklike driveway made an ideal setting for the pitch-in dinners and reminiscences. The two five-gallon containers of ice cream were the most memorable feature of the reunions to many of the children attending, including the writer of this history.

At the time this history is being compiled, Carolyn Johnson, the grandaughter-in-law of Beverly and Sarah Johnson, is still living at the old John Harvey homeplace. (Unchanged as of Feb., 2005) By Don Faust.
