Lambeth was born in the late 1600's in Richmond County Virginia. The births of three of his children are recorded in the North Farnham Parish Register between 1724 and 1734. Thus it is assumed his marriage took place during the early 1720's. His wife was named Sarah and some say she was Sarah Harris, daughter of Philip Harris, and that she may have died on 21 February 1736 as the parish register records such a death for a Sarah. It is not confirmed that this refers to Lambeth's wife, but if so, he quite likely remarried. However, there are no records showing the name of his wife.
