  2. Many sources show this Sarah dying young because of the birth of an alleged second daughter of the name Sarah. (For example, Source:Gale, George. The Gale Family Records in England and the United States, p. 38) This is most likely incorrect. The Watertown records, on p. 2:5, say "Jonah Gael son of Abraham & Sarah Geal was born aug'st 29th: 1694". This is the date the second Sarah was supposedly born and it appears that the record was misread by George Gale and others. However, the word son makes it appear very likely that the Jonah/Jonas interpretation is the correct one. This, then, removes the evidence that this first Sarah died. She then becomes a good match for the "Sarah Gale of Wat." that Source:A history of Framingham, Massachusetts, including the plantation, from 1640 to the present time : with an appendix containing a notice of Sudbury and its first proprietors; says married Jonathan Pratt of Framingham, thus qualifying to be called "my Daughter Sarah Pratt" in her father's will (see Person:Abraham Gale (1)).
