FRENCH, Sarah, d. John and Mary, [born] Sept. 15, 1685.
↑ In the settlement of the heirs of John French, in 1712, one of the heirs is "Joseph Frost who married Sarah another of the Daughters of the s'd Intestate". In the marriage record of 1710, in Charlestown, Joseph Frost marries Sarah Flint, both of Billerica. Source:Hazen, Henry Allen. History of Billerica, Massachusetts : With a Genealogical Register, p. 50, describes John French's daughter as "Sarah, b. 1685, Sept. 15; m. --- Flint, of Charlestown, and Joseph Frost." This appears to be all any source knows. Whether there was a first marriage, or the marriage record misrecorded her name is unknown, but no evidence of such a marriage (including birth of a Flint child to a mother named Sarah, or the death or probate of a Mr. Flint), has been found. Given her age, if such a marriage occurred it most likely would have been about 1705 or so.
