    Sarah Atwood
    Mrs. Sarah A. Atwood, 72, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Patch, at 1630 Fillmore. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

    She was born July 3, 1862, in Indiana, coming to Shawnee county, Kansas, in 1866. She had been a resident of Topeka since 1903.

    Mrs. Patch; another daughter, Mrs. Effie Daw, also of Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Mary Acker, Dover, Kan.; one son, Dan Atwood, Alamenda, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from Wall-Diffenderfer's mortuary. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.

    Note: There is a discrepancy in the year of birth between the obit and the marker.
