  2. Two mentions of a Sarah Dwelly are found by quick searching. One is Sarah Allen who m. Lot Dwelly, but she can be ruled out, for Lot did not die until 1780, she being the widow Sarah Dwelly in his probate. The other is Sarah Dwelly, d/o Joseph Dwelly and Mary Randall of Scituate (i.e., not of Bridgewater at that time, if Pierce's description is accurate), birth unknown, but assigned a guardian in 1750 when her father died. Mitchell has no information about any Dwelly family in his History of Bridgewater.
