In Truxton, 2 o’clock A. M., the 28th ult., Miss Sally Barker, wife of Mr. Laurence Barker, and daughter of Mr. Prentice Coon, aged 63.
For a long time, wearisome nights were appointed her. She trusted not in her suffering as giving her any hope of escaping future woe, but her hope of salvation seemed to rest wholly on “The Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world.”
Her funeral services were attended in the S. D. B. house of worship at Lincklaen, and near that house her body rests; it was in that neighborhood that she spent the days of her youth.
