... James G. and Sarah E. (Campbell) Haynes. The father was a native of Tennessee, born July 23, 1832, and died July 4. 1873. He was the son of Joseph Haynes, a native of Tennessee, and of German descent. Our subject’s father was a carpenter by trade, and was universally respected by all who knew him. The mother was also a native of Tennessee, was born July 15, 1834, and is the mother of three children, viz.: Joseph C., Landon C. and Cicero. ...
