Tragic Death of Sarah
Following the birth of twins Arthur and Elizabeth, on Sept 26, 1910, Sarah died a few hours later through a haemorragh. Both Dr's Glenson and Morton did everything that could be done. Both twins weighed a healthy 7lb each.
[2]The twins were split up. One going into the care of Sarah's brother Arthur George Butcher and his wife the other to David's sister Irintha and her husband Harry Barber. Arthur sadly died less than a month after his birth on Oct 20, 1916.
