Facts and Events
Name[1] Sarah Buckner
Gender Female
Birth[2] 1 Jan 1710 Stafford County, Virginia
Marriage 31 Dec 1734 St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginiato Thomas Price, Jr.
Death[2] 10 Oct 1756 Stafford County, Virginia

An indenture dated 10 Oct 1756 stated that John BUCKNER (d. 1752) had a sister Sarah, wife of Thomas Price, and a daughter Susanna who died young.

The parents of John and Sarah are uncertain and there is much confusion about the early Buckners in America. Research by Ben Buckner suggests their father was Andrew BUCKNER (s/o Philip the immigrant). [1]

According to The House of Burgesses (p 367), Moses Burgess married Elizabeth Price on 30 May 1762 in Stafford Co. She was born 3 June 1741, d/o Thomas Price and Sarah Buckner "[who was the daughter of Anthony Buckner and Sarah Ellis, a sister of John Buckner, and a niece of Catherine Ellis], and sister of Sarah Price, who married Edward Burgess Jr., Moses's older brother; and died between 1771-84 [probably in the late 1770s]."
