[Family 2.] JESSE HALL ... was born November, 1791, and married Sarah Bryan, September 30, 1813. She was born in 1788. He lived about one and a half miles from Newburgh, at a place called Scotch Hill. His farm was underlaid with the celebrated Newburgh vein of semi-bituminous coal, and was bought and worked out several years ago. He died December 21, 1858, and his wife in 1861. They are both buried near the farm, at Bethel Church.
