    'Sara [daughter of John and Elizabeth (Whatman) Brooke], bapt. 1 Oct. 1570 [St. Leonard's in Eastcheap], widow in 1599 but still living as a widow in 1625. In both wills (mother's and brother Thomas's) she is called Sara Storye but we have not found her husband's name.'
