Facts and Events
Sarah Josephine's marriage record said she was born in Jackson County and resided in Jackson County, West Virginia; but the 1880 census record for her family said she was born in Ohio and that appears more likely; though her sister was born in WV. During that time period, the Ohio River was used as a highway for boat traffic, not only up and down the river, but across the river into Ohio. So perhaps there was visiting back and forth.
