In the 1850 census, Erie Co OH, Vermillion Twp, dwelling #269, he is listed as "Sandrus A RANSOM", age 1, and living with his sister and mother next door to her brother, Lorenzo Dow JUMP.
In the marriage records, Allen County IN, vol 7:p478, he is listed as "Lowell RANSOM" when he married Caroline Graves on 12 June 1869.
In the 1870 census, Paulding Co OH, Carryall Twp, Antwerp, HH# 48, he is listed as "Adlow RANSOM", a farm laborer, living with his new wife (June 1869) next door to her sister, Matilda Graves MILLER.
In the 1880 census, Allen Co IN, Milan Twp, page 8 line 23, he is listed as "Adlo RANSOM", age 31.
In the 1900 census, Allen Co IN, Milan Twp, page 9 line 28, he is listed as "Sandrus RANSOM", with parents born in NY and MD.
In 1924, his death certificate shows "Sandrus Adlo RANSOM", born 3 April 1849 in Erie Co OH.
