Funeral services for Sandra Ann Ross, 51, were held June 8 at Caldwell's Chapel of the Valley. She died June 2, 1998, in Fort Thomas.
Pastor Randa Ray officiated at the services, offering the greeting and opening prayer. Scripture readings and meditation followed. Musical selections included "Amazing Grace" and "Go High on that Mountain."
Interment followed at Wards Canyon Cemetery in Clifton. Serving as casket bearers were Tino Saiz, Joe Johnson, Michael Saiz, Marla Knight, Royce Carter and Eric Gibbons.
Ross was born Feb. 5 1947, in Morenci, the daughter of Clifford and Josephine Hall. She grew up and attended school in Morenci, graduating from Morenci High School. She attended Western Texas College. She worked as a behavioral health technician at Graham-Greenlee Counseling Center from 1990 to 1996, until poor health forced her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading.
Surviving are a daughter, Dana Laughard of Fort Thomas; two step-daughters, Rhonda Sears of Texas and Becky Ellis of Georgia; a brother, Jim Hall of Hawaii; two sisters, Jody Johnson of Safford and Charlotte Saiz of Mammoth; three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Mount Graham Hospice.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Home of Safford.
