    Tuesday's train brought the body of Samuel White, who recently died at Skagway from appendinetus. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vogt, from whose residence at Birch Bay the funeral was conducted on Wednesday last, the interment taking place at the California Creek cemetery. Rev. W. E. Dawson of the Congregational church conducted the service. The parents and relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
