Samuel Waddington of Woolrow Farm, Clifton, Brighouse, nr. Halifax. abt. 1747 Lightcliffe, bd. there 1789, md. Sarah Blackburne at Bradford. Son of Joshua Waddington 1729 of Birkhouse, Dewsbury and Lightcliffe, Halifax. Had issue 2 sons--- John E., abt. 1776 Hartshead d. young, and Samuel W., abt. 1784 Hartshead, bd. there 1830, md. 1807, the latter to whom he left his property. Descended from Richard de Wadyngton 1388 of Coley, Halifax.
