Samuel M. Reigle, 83, of Kilgore died last Thursday in his home after an illness of three days. He had been ill with a heart ailment. Born in Loudon Township October 16, 1873, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Reigle. A retired farmer, Mr. Reigle was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Kilgore. He was married to Lizzie Burrier in 1892. She preceded him in death in 1939. Mr. Reigle was married to Carrie Gantz in 1940.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Reigle; one grandson, Charles H. Reigle of Canton; two stepsons, Robert Gantz of Harlem Springs and Donald Gantz of Leavittsville, and four great-grandchildren. One son and one daughter preceded him in death. Services were Saturday in the Kilgore Church with the Rev. Rollin Reiss officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery. The Allmon Funeral Home here was in charge of arrangements.
