No note if it was refused by Muster Master at the initial lodgement (perhaps for bad behaviour?) but his wife Hannah never goes to Australia to meet him. It is known that Samuel remarries in 1844, and previous wife Hannah nee Relf boards from at least 1841 with a John Weston in Sussex before marrying him in 1863.

Convicted for Sheep Stealing, sentenced to death however this was commuted to Transportation for Life - he sailed to Tasmania, Australia on the Lord W Bantick convict ship, and would never return to England.
