    Died January 7, 1903, at the home of his daughter Mrs. E. D. Hubbell in Ronald, Samuel Millard, aged 72 years. Deceased was born in Berlin, New York January 8, 1831, living there for 25 years, when he was married to Miss Katherine Kipp, three children being born to them, two of whom survive.

    On September 1, 1874, his wife died and on April 6, 1875, he was married to Mrs. Amelia Serivins.

    In May, 1876, the family moved to Clinton county, Michigan, where he resided for a number of years, removing to Muir ten years ago, where his home was at the time of his death. Funeral services were held Friday from the Disciple church, Muir, Rev. N. R. Woods officiating. interment in Muir cemetery.
