BIOGRAPHY: The Descendants of George Little By George Thomas Little, A.M., Auburn, Maine Published by the Author 1882 - Page 395 Mr. Little studied medicine at Dartmouth College, where he received his degree of M.D. in 1829, began the practice of his profession at New London, N. H., and followed it with marked success for twenty-five years. In 1855 he removed to Clayton County, Iowa, and devoted the remaining years of his life to the care of a farm. He had a pleasant, genial nature, was a man of the strictest integrity, and a useful and respected citizen. His death, indirectly caused by an accident, took place 20 March, 1878, at his residence at Farmersburg, Iowa. (Note his wife survived him and was alive at the date of the publication of this book)
