Interested in the Howard Bane who md Letita Hickman. Letitia was daughter of Samuel Hickman and wife Margaret Thompson.

Margaret Thompson was the daughter of William Thompson of Springfield plantation on Back Creek in Montgomery Co, Va Margaret's mother was Mary Patton the daughter of Col. James Patton, who brought settlers to the Augusta Co, Va area.

James Patton was killed by Indains in 1755 at Drapers Meadow.
