He married SARAH (SALLY) ELIZABETH CRAWFORD April 17, 1815 in Shelby County, Kentucky. She was born October 06, 1798 in Bath County, Virginia, and died August 05, 1855 in Shelbyville, Shelby, Kentucky.

    He lived in Wythe County Virginia went to Shelby Co. Ky in 1805 He was a farmer, and a magistrate . He was a Presbyterian. and was in the Military. The War of 1812-1813 under General Harrison. He was an elder forty years in the Presbyterian Church and died in 1858.
