    Susanna(2) Blaney married, first, Samuel Fowle, of Charlestown, mariner. He went to sea about nine years prior to Nov. 2, 1708, leaving her with two children and big with a third, and died abroad. Mass. Arch. Vol. 17, p. 214. Administration on his estate was granted to her July 5, 1703. Middlesex Probate, No. 8353, Vol. 10, p. 626. John(2) Blaney was one of the appraisers of this estate,-see inventory, Vol. 10, p. 628. Her children by Samuel Fowle were Sarah, Beriah and Susannah Fowle. Guardianship of Sarah was granted to Joseph Wood, her uncle by marriage, March 30, 1711. Middlesex Probate, No. 8355, Vol. 12, p. 330."
