    Capt. James Fowle, son of Lieut. James Fowle (epitaph 2), was born March 4, 1667, and married Mary Richardson, Oct. 2, 1688 (vide epitaph 141); was town clerk from 1701 to his death. (Vide Sewall's Woburn, 013, 614, etc.)
