Samuel Foster [#6048], s/o Samuel Foster [#5999] and Sarah Roberts, b. Reading 1702, d. 17 Nov 1753, m. 3 Dec 1724 Ruth Snow. "Samuel purchased his first land in Ashford, in 1724, and he is described as of Reading, Mass."
[Note: Pierce has a very checkered reputation, which he doesn't fail to show off by giving a death in 1753 when the corresponding death is clearly recorded as Samuel Jr., and Samuel is mentioned in his father's will of 1762. However, if Pierce has accurately described the deed, his estimate of the birth and Samuel's relocation appear to be credible.]
