    DIAS
    Samuel J. Dias, 76, 410 Washington Ave., Sheridan Terrace, Irwin, died in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, Saturday evening. The coal miner retired in 1949 from Adams mine. Born October 31, 1888 in Penn Shaft, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Loughner Dias. He is survived by his wife, Emma Lucas Dias, with whom he celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary June 30, 1963; three children, Raymond, Mrs. Hazel Dolensky, Mrs. Doris Ostrom, all of Irwin; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one brother, Earl Englehart, Jeannette. Friends are being received at his late home where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. E.F. Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
