    4 Aug 1800: Petition of Selectmen of Petersham that Samuel Clements,"a Person of a Moderate Interest of about 500 or 600 Dollars and has a Wife and Two Children and is in our Opinion Wasting his Estate by Excessive Drinking and Totally Neglecting his Business for Twelve months or more".
    [Note: Only document in file. Apparently no guardian was appointed, as Samuel was able to sell his own property several times after this date.]

    Vol. 155, p. 413 19 Jun 1795: Thomas Clements of Barre, William Clements of Royalston and Sam'l Clements of Petersham Yeoman for £20 convey to John Clements of Petersham Yeoman a lot in Petersham formerly owned by our Father Mr James Clements now Deceased, half deeded to William, other half owned by heirs; also 6 acres in Petersham.

    Vol. 172, p. 72 13 Feb 1809: Samuel Clements of Petersham Yeoman ["with Marcy my wife"] for $700 conveys to Oliver Cromwell Gates of Peterhsam Gentleman a tract of land and Farm on which I Live.
    Vol. 177, p. 33 29 Apr 1809: Samuel Clements and Oliver C. Gates both of Petersham Yeoman & Trader for $2 convey to John Chandler of Boston Merchant quitclaim all right to tract in Petersham containing 41 rods.
