    In 1716 Samuel Carriel and his brother Daniel set out for Sutton, Mass. In 1719 Samuel Carriel return to his old home for a companion and on Sept. 14 at Boxford, Mass. was married to Rebecca Elliott. Samuel Jr. b. c. 1722, killed Dec 1756 in French and Indian War, m. "5-4-1742" Anna Easton.
    [Note: the birth estimate of 1722 given here is adjusted to 1720, so Samuel can attain legal age before marrying in 1742. Sister Rebecca, who also married in 1742, does not have such a restrictive constraint and so was adjusted to 1722, which still allows her to be over 18.]
