In Wirt, N. Y., March 30th, of typhoid fever, S. Eugene Burdick, only son of Peter and Ursula M. Burdick, aged 21 years, and 3 months. Bro. Eugene about a year since embraced religion, and united with the church at Nile. He relinquished his studies at Alfred, and came home three weeks previous to his death. He bore his painful sickness with meekness and Christian fortitude, and died trusting in the Lord.
