A note attached to the probate bond reads, in part: "25th June 1794 Susannah Brees appeared personally and alleged that Samuel Brees late of the parish of Llandinam in the Diocese of Bangor, her late husband deceased died in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety one intestate without making any will and that the [...] appearer is his lawful widow and relict wherefore she prayeth Letters of Administration of all and [...] the goods chattels and credits of the said Deceased to be granted to her on giving the usual security."
Bound for 1800 pounds were Susannah Brees, widow, and Thomas Lewis.
