Samual Arrowsmith was issued a land certificate on April 13, 1807 in the Chillicothe, Ohio area on Worthingtons Survey, range 21, township 9, swction 27. Th ere is an early reference on January 28, 1807. Samual Finly a receiver of pub lic monies or acceptance of payment for land wrote after an audit of accounts "a difference so considerable has suggested the properiety of acting no furth er in the case". The names listed were Joseph Jefferies and Samuel Arrowsmith . It appears there was a difference of opinion on what the purchase price of the land would be.
