Probably she was the daughter of Capt. Heman Brown (1757 - 1829) and Mary (West) Brown (ca 1759 - 1812), buried in the same cemetery. In 1850 Mercy Brown (age 82) was living with Nathan and Sally Wilson and their daughter Mercy Wilson in Bethany NY. Mercy Brown was the second wife of Capt. Heman Brown.
