NAME: Also Jane, Sarah A. There is considerable confusion and disagreement about the name of the wife of Abner Gage Dunsmoor. In Ancestors and Descendants of Phineas and Polly (Gage) Dunsmoor (pages 43, 46) by Nellie Ataline Gard, she is referred to as Jane Miller. In the History of Morgan County, Ohio (page 361) by Charles Robertson she is referred to simply as Miss Miller. In the Latter Day Saints Ancestral File she is Sarah A. Miller (AFN=1691-T62). In the Latter Day Saints International Genealogical Index North America she is referred to both as Sarah A. Miller and as Jane Miller. The Illinos Statewide Marriage Index 1763-1900 and the Adams County, Illinois, Marriage Record gives her name as Sally Ann Miller. The last is the one used here.
