RUTH E. GRABOWSKI

FALLING WATERS, W.Va. — Ruth Esther Grabowski, 88, of Falling Waters, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at her home. She was born on March 25, 1926, in Greensburg, Pa., to the late Harvey George and Margie Naretta Loughner Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Leon Grabowski in 1990. She was a graduate of Penn Township High School, Harrison City, Pa. She was employed by the Washington County Board of Education at the Fairview Outdoor School until retiring in 1988. After her retirement, she was employed by the Potomac Park Campground for 20 years. Ruth was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God, Marlowe, W.Va. She is survived by her daughters, Carol R. Connor of Gambrills, Rhonda L. Danielson of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Marla J. Walch of Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Betty J. Steiner of Jeannette, Pa.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Jean A. Irwin, Helen R. Bush and Evelyn E. Toniolo.
