Ruth M. Watkins of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on June 21, 2003 at RaeAnn Nursing Home. Born in Shanksville Dec. 4, 1908, daughter ofJames and Zella Sivits. Preceded in death by parents; husband Fred;sons, Carl and Robert; daughter Hazel Myracle; sisters Anna and MaryRoss; two brothers, James and Harold Sivits. Survived by childrenHelen Bailey of Florida, Marian Shank of Irwin, and Ray of Geneva;sisters Alberta of Keyser, W.Va., Dorothy Eland of Chicago, Ill.;brother, Edward Sivits, of Somerset; 14 grandchildren; 20great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and nieces andnephews. She was a Geneva resident for 48 years. She helped startthe Geneva Nutrition Site at the United Methodist Church and wasactive for 34 years. A member of the Geneva V.F.W. Auxiliary and theGeneva Methodist Church for 48 years. Friends will be received from 7to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva,where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev.High Hookway of the United Methodist Church of Geneva officiating.Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery Eastwood Street inGeneva. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to theGeneva United Methodist Church and envelopes will be available at thefuneral home
