She was aDispatch Rural Carrier while her husband was in the service during WorldWar II. She enjoyed and cared for wildlife and her household pets. Sheis survived by her husband of 66 years, Harley Baker, Rockbridge;brothers in law, Robert Baker and Richard [Ruby] Baker, nieces, nephewsand many friends. She was preceded in death by an infant son CharlesEdwin Baker, parents George and Olive Shaver and sister Veleda Ryan.Graveside service will be held 1 PM Friday at Forest Rose Cemetery withpastor Roger Hatfield officiating. Memorials may be made in her memoryto a Hockey County Humane Society, 120 homer Avenue, Logan, Ohio, 43138,or a charity of choice.
