Obituary: Ruth Huyler High Point Mrs. Ruth Sexton Huyler, 86, of 701 S. Elm St., died Jan 13, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital following several years of declining health. She was born May 12, 1913, in Sparta, a daughter of William M. and Kate Halloway Sexton. She was a resident of High Point since 1945 . She was retired from Pickett Cotton Mill. She was a member of Southside Bap tist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. She married Mack Huyler, who preceded her in death in 1976. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs Roy (Betty) Albea of Decatur, Ga; three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Kerr and Mrs. Ora Lee Leonard, both of 701 S. Elm St., and Mrs. Juanita Carter of 1204 Cloverdale Drive; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 11am Saturday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. Bynum D. Orr. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonigh t at the funeral home.
