Ruth Shrimplin, 82, of Olathe, died March 13, 2001, at the Overland Park Regional Hospital. Shrimplin is preceded in death by her parents, Zane and Ruby (Quant) Reynolds; brother, Al Reynolds; and two husbands, Joseph Hundley and Robert Shrimplin. Survivors include three sons, Jeff Hundley, of Kansas City, Mo.; Larry Hundley, Glendale, Ariz.; and Keith Hundley, of Shawnee; two daughters, Barbara Reecher, of Exeter, Mo.; and Cindy Mellott, of Chamberburg, Pa.; brother, Harold Reynolds and sister, Helen Wilson, both of California; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at the W.L. Frye and Son Mortuary and Crematory, Olathe.
