The 1850 census is the only reference I've seen for "Ruth". Rachel should have been in the 1850 census <if the birth information I have is correct> and was not listed. I believe that Ruth <1850 census> and Rachel <1860 + census> are the same person. However, I am leaving them as seperate until further reseach proves otherwise.
