Ruth E. Morrow - Spokesman-Review, The - (Jan/25/2004) Ruth Morrow Spokane No service will be held for Ruth E. Morrow, 86, at her request. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Morrow, a lifelong resident of the Spokane area, died Jan. 11. She was a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross, Tum Tum Seniors and the Stevens County Community Action Team/COP Shop. Mrs. Morrow was a life member of the board of the Inland Northwest Chapter, American Red Cross; life member of Espanola Grange 698 and Washington State Grange; and a Golden Acorn member of Washington State Congress of Parents and Teachers. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church and also attended Hayford Community Church and Community Church of Our Saviour. Her husband, Walter Erickson, died in 1969. Survivors include her husband of nearly 32 years, Cecil; a son, Gary Erickson of Hillsboro, Ore.; a daughter, Phyllis Schaffer of Nine Mile Falls; a sister, Phyllis Bezona of Kailua Kona, Hawaii; a brother, Hugh Jackman Jr. of Yakima; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
