"The maryage of Samuell Pratt with Ruth his wife was upon the twenty fixth of may in the yeare of our lord 1681 Ruth pratt the wife of Samuell pratt & the daughter of Christopher huntington Senior of Norwich & Ruth his wife Deceased ffebruary 14th 1683"

  5. 5.0 5.1 Whether Christopher was born in January 1652/53 (three months after parents' marriage) or January 1653/54, the interval is to short to allow for the birth of Ruth in April 1653. The most likely explanation is that while Ruth was probably born at Saybrook, the birth was recorded, inaccurately, at Windsor and the 18 April 1658 date is the correct one.
