Ruth Ann died when she was flying a glider and a wing sheared off. She plummeted to her death.Bruce Bilder told me on 8/19/10 that Stanley was devastated by her death and blamed himself because he paid for the glider lessons. He was never the same after that. Even had to give up his job since he couldn’t function. He had been the head of internal security for the federal civil service and had power that was unbelievable. Bruce said he used to play with Gary and Ruth Ann and was also extremely upset about her death. At the time of Ruth Ann's death she had been working on getting a divorce from Thomas Butler.
