RUTH GREENSLADE

Therefore, by order of the court 5 pounds as called for in the will was to be paid to Ruth Greenslate alias Bridges. The will spelled her and her 3 brothers surname as Greenslit, and the court order spelled it Greenslate, which no doubt contributed to the confusing spellings found in the various on-line genealogies.
