↑Source:Chase, John Carroll. Seven Generations of the Descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase, p. 52, says "Apparently he then [1741] lived in the First Parsh of Haverhill. Plaistow, originally a part of Haverhill, was set off as a separate parish 28 Feb 1749." Since the record of Plaistow were apparently created sometime after 1749, the New Hampshire birth record would appear to be made after the fact, which suggests the baptism might be the more reliable, and the birth date is actually Sep 1747.]
