DEATH: Coventry, Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries By Dr. Bill Eddleman and John E. Sterling 1998 Burlingame-Knight Lot CY152

  This lot is located 600 feet east of Colvintown Road, 1000 feet south of Hope Furnace Road on a hill in woods, adjacent to the Burlingame-Brayton Lot-Coventry Historical Cemetery  #151. This cemetery is 35 ft x 35 ft, in fair condition, and enclosed with granite posts and iron rails. There are 13 burials with 13 inscribed stones.
  James N. Arnold visited this lot on 7 Sept 1904 and noted "On the farm now known as the Andrew Burlingame place west of Hope. This lot is fenced with iron rods and granite posts." Vol. 6, Book J, page 1408). Charles and Martha Benns transcribed this lot in 1936, their #505. Amelia K. Whitford also transcribed this cemetery.
