Ruth Evelyn Burdick 1900-1969 "The Milton Courier", Milton Wisconsin, Thursday, Aug. 14, 1969, p 4. Miss Ruth E. Burdick, 69, former local resident, died Monday, Aug. 11, in University Hospitals, Madison. Miss Burdick had been in ill health most of her life. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Milton Cemetery, with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Born in Milton, she was the daughter of Dr. Justin and Clara Stillman Burdick. Surviving are three brothers, Robert and Roger, both of Milton, and William of Wauwatosa, and a sister, Phyllis, of Janesville.

Cause of death: Respiratory obstruction
