    Russell E. Peters, 67, of Derry, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, in Latrobe Area Hospital.
    He was born Feb. 21, 1937, in Greensburg, a son of the late Robert C. and Lydia E. Loughner Peters.

    He formerly was employed by Westmoreland Amusements.

    He was a former steward and member of the Derry VFW, and was a member of the Derry Eagles, the White House Club, Derry Rod and Gun Club, the Frontier Club of Latrobe and the Derry Ukes.

    He is survived by his son, Russ and his wife, Jenny, New Paltz, N.Y.; daughters, Brenda and her husband, Michael Hovance, of Loyalhanna; Cheryl and her husband, Robert Losier, Derry, and Donna, Ligonier; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

    Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert C. Jr., Paul and Carl J., and a sister, Clarissa .

    Services were held Tuesday at McCabe Funeral Home, Derry, with Pastor Jason Losier officiating.

    Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Irwin.
