Spencerville - Russel A. Medaugh, 66, died at 5:30 a.m. today in St. Rita's Hospital, Lima, where he was admitted 12 hours earlier. He was born March 27, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Glen Medaugh. His mother survives. He was married to Lois Barryman on April 8, 1918. She died in 1962. Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Gaylord Carl Medaugh of Spencerville and two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Coila) McGilvary and 2688 Breese Rd., Lima, and Mrs. Edwin (Carolyn Marbaugh of Newark. Mr. Medaugh was postmaster of this village for 13 years. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Cowan and Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
