Thomas' Legion and Indians, and Highlanders, North Carolina Volunteers, for the local defense of the Carolinas, East Tennesee, Southwestern Virginia, and the Cumberland Mountains. Roll dated 23rd, July 1862 at Ft. Montgomery, Cherokee County, NC.
